Male Singers Wanted For Katonga Show

Busch Gardens Tampa is seeking male singer/actors for our Broadway-style show Katonga. Candidates should be able to perform the roles of:

“KARUME” baritone (James Earl Jones type) and also "LYONGO" bass/baritone (young Geoffrey Holder type), animated personality preferred.

In the subject line of your email put: Singer/Actor. Describe your work experience. Links are great, but please do not send head shots, resumes or large files (no attachments please). We may contact you in advance of your audition.

Audition Instructions:

Give us the best 16 bars of both a ballad and up tempo selection. Popular music is preferred. Be prepared! Sheet music, cassette tape or CD accompaniment are fine, but be sure that the selections are properly marked and in the right key. No recorded lead vocals, please ... we want to hear your great voice! We also want to see your ability to speak on stage. Prepare a 2-minute monologue of your choice, or be prepared to tell a funny story. You will be asked to learn a simple dance combination.
